How to take part in an auktion

is public and anybody can attend. During an adequate preview period you can examine the desired objects carefully. We shall be happy to assist and advise you. In the public catalogue you will find important information in the description of each object.ESTIMATES
The estimated prices shown in the catalogue are to be considered as a non-binding orientation framework. The opening bid will normally be the estimate price, however if necessary it can also be considerably below the estimate.

The attendance at the auction is free and anonymous. A seat reservation is possible until the day before the auction. All bidders must register and will receive a bidding number prior to bidding at the auction. You can also place bids in writing, by fax or by telephone. In order to place your bid in the hall, please raise your hand.
The bidding increments will be in steps of approximately 10% of the preceding bid. You decide, up to which level you would like to go.
The successful bid price has been found when no higher bid is delivered after the auctioneer has announced a bid three times.
In addition to the hammer price comes the buyer´s premium of 25% including all taxes.

Phone bids will be accepted only until the day before the auction. You are neither allowed to place bids below limit nor to bid for items with a limit below Euro 250,-.





are accepted with our order form. In the order form you specify your maximum bid. We assure you that the successful bid price will been found on a discretionary basis and your bid will not be abused. In the event of double bid, the winner will be the bid that we received first. It is the number registered in the bid contract that is binding, not the description.

Paintings and art objects can be picked up about 30 minutes after you have been announced as successful bidder. Large furniture and large paintings can be picked up Monday and Tuesday after the auction during our opening time 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Payment in full is a prerequisite for delivery. Shipping of objects is arranged only after request in writing. Packing, dispatch and carriage at cost at the buyers expense and risk.
Fragile items and paintings and graphics under glass will not be dispatched.

Unsold items can be purchased in post-auction sale until two weeks after the auction according terms stated in general auction conditions.

Our descriptions are conscientious. If you want more detailed information we shall be happy to send you a condition report or a photo (at Euro 2,50 per photo).
